What does it cost?
Three plans. Two things counted.
A monthly fee that includes booked appointments and answered calls. Go past what your plan includes and you pay the published rate for the extra ones. There is nothing else on the invoice.

Founding pilot
Growth at the Starter price, for your first three months.
The middle plan, with its 20 booked appointments and 100 answered calls, at the entry price. No setup fee. After three months it goes to the list price above, and you can move down, up or off at the end of any month.

What am I paying for?
Two counts, and only two.
A booked appointment is a lead you loaded, who spoke to Bludge, and took a time that lands in your calendar.
An answered call is a call to your number that the assistant picks up and holds for 20 seconds or more.
If it is called off
You are not charged. Whoever cancels, and however late, an appointment that does not happen comes off the invoice.
If they do not turn up
You are charged. It reached the lead, asked your questions and took a real time in your calendar. It cannot make someone open the door.
If the same person books twice
You are charged once. Bookings are matched on the phone number, and the same person inside 90 days is the same appointment.
If they were going to book anyway
Nobody can settle that one either way. What we can say is the call went out about five seconds after the inquiry landed. If a booking was plainly already yours, say so and we take it off.
If it is a robot or a wrong number
Free. Under 20 seconds is not an answered call. Hang-ups, robocalls and misdials still appear in your call list, but never on the invoice.
If an incoming call books a time
One event, one charge. It counts as one answered call, not as an answered call and a booked appointment on top.
If a call runs long
The answered-call fee covers the first 10 minutes. Past that it is C$0.27 a minute. Outbound calls have no minute charge at all.
If you do not use it all
Unused appointments and answered calls roll over one month, so a quiet month pays for the busy one after it. They lapse after that.
Where does the line sit?
What every plan covers.
The same list on all three. The plans differ in how much you get, not in what you get.
Included
- One local Canadian number of your own, normally C$5 a month.
- Answering that number as well as calling out, on every plan.
- Every outbound call, for as long as the lead wants to talk, with no per-minute charge.
- The second attempt when nobody picks up, inside calling hours.
- The text after an unanswered call, and the confirmation text after a booking.
- The details it takes when a caller asks for a person, so your team can call back.
- Every voice, every change you make to the questions, and the transcript of every call.
Not included
- Your calendar and CRM. Calendly, HubSpot, Zoho and SavvyCal stay on your own plan.
- Extra numbers past the first one. They are charged at what the carrier charges us.
- Getting the inquiries in the first place: your ads, your website, your form.
- Turning up. It books the appointment; the rest of it is still your job.
What does a real month look like?
Plan, plus overage.
Take a busy month on Growth. It books 24 appointments and answers 120 calls, which is 4 appointments and 20 calls past what the plan includes.
That is C$314 for the month, all in. If an appointment is worth C$800 to you, the 24 in that month are worth C$19,200.
The C$800 is ours, made up to show the shape of it. Put your own number in its place, and remember the ones that never become a job.
The invoice
Growth, 24 appointments and 120 answered calls.

- C$22520 appointments, 100 calls included
- Extra appts
- C$444 × C$11
- Extra calls
- C$4520 × C$2.25
- Total
- C$314Nothing else on it.
Where the plans cross over
Past about 13 booked appointments a month, Growth costs less than Starter plus overage. Past about 48, Scale costs less than Growth plus overage. Both lines are printed here rather than buried, because nobody should sit on an overage rate by accident.
Billing questions
The rest of the small print.
Everything else about the calls, the rules and the setup is on the FAQ.
What is on the invoice?
One invoice a month. The plan fee, then anything past what the plan included — each extra appointment with the lead's name and the time it took in your calendar, each extra answered call with the number and how long it ran. Nothing else, and no per-minute line unless a call ran past ten minutes.
What happens when I go over what my plan includes?
It keeps working and you pay the overage rate for that plan. Nothing stops, nothing queues, and no appointment is refused because an allowance ran out. Sitting on an overage rate is the one way to overpay here, so the point at which the next plan up costs less is printed on this page rather than buried. Move up whenever you like and it applies from that day.
Do unused appointments and calls carry over?
One month. A quiet month's leftovers are there for the busy one after it, and then they lapse. They do not stack up over a year.
What if the lead cancels?
You are not charged. If the appointment does not happen because the lead calls it off or you move it out of your calendar, it comes off the invoice.
What if they do not turn up?
You are charged. It found the lead, qualified them and took a time in your calendar. It cannot make someone open their front door. If your no-show rate is high, tell us during the pilot, because that is the sort of thing the pilot is for.
Does an incoming call that books an appointment cost me twice?
No. One event, one charge. An incoming call that ends in a booking is charged as one answered call, not as an answered call plus a booked appointment.
Am I charged for wrong numbers and robocalls?
No. A call has to run twenty seconds before it counts as answered. Hang-ups, robocalls and wrong numbers under that are free, and they still show up in your call list so you can see what came in.
What if an incoming call runs long?
The answered-call fee covers the first ten minutes, which is longer than almost any of them run. Past ten minutes it is charged by the minute at the rate on your plan. Outbound calls have no minute charge at all.
Is the price the same for every industry?
Yes, deliberately. A plumber's call and a clinic's call are the same work to us — the same seconds of listening, the same phone line, the same minute of a voice. What an appointment is worth is not the same, and that difference is yours to keep, not ours to price. We would rather publish one price list than guess at what your trade can bear.
Is there a setup fee, a minimum term or a contract?
None of the three. Setup is twenty minutes and you do it yourself, there is no minimum term, and you can stop at the end of any month. You keep every transcript.
Can I change plan?
Up at any time, and it applies from that day. Down at the end of the month. Nobody is held on a plan they have grown out of, or one they picked too big.
Can I put a ceiling on it?
Yes. You can cap how many leads it calls in a day, and narrow the hours it is allowed to call in. Both are settings you control, and both take effect on the next lead.
What happens after the pilot?
The plan carries on at its list price and you can move down, up or off at the end of any month. We will have measured figures by then, and we will show you ours before we ask you to agree to anything.
Hear it before you price it.
It rings your cell phone in a few seconds, says it is an AI, and takes you through the call your leads would get. Two minutes, no account.
