Bludge

How Bludge works

A conversation
that keeps up.

Bludge’s AI assistant answers business calls, follows up inquiries and helps book the next step using your rules.

Someone has a question. You have a business to run. Here’s how the conversation moves forward.

A homeowner calling on a mobile phone beside a dripping kitchen faucet
Meet Sam. One leaking tap. One call for help.

01 · Listen and understand

A small correction.
A better next step.

Sam calls about a leak. Bludge introduces itself as AI and asks what needs attention. When Sam corrects a detail, the conversation follows.

Customers can interrupt or change their mind. The important part is using the corrected information in the next answer.

A plumbing call is one example. The same approach applies to questions about your services, shop or software.

Illustrative conversation · Not a recording

Sam

“The bathroom tap keeps dripping.”

Bludge

“The bathroom tap—”

Sam interrupts

“Sorry, the kitchen. Can someone come tomorrow?”

Bludge

“The kitchen, got it. What’s the address so I can check?”

Bludge keeps the correction and asks the next useful question.

02 · Follow your rules

From “can you help?”
to what happens next.

Check before confirming

For Sam, that means checking the service area and available times. A booking is only confirmed when the connected system confirms it.

Hand over when it matters

You decide when a caller should reach a person. If nobody is available, the agreed fallback can take a message instead.

Keep the useful details

The corrected problem and agreed next step help your team pick up the conversation. We confirm your workflows and integrations before activation.

03 · Behind the conversation

Ready Replies.
A head start, not a script.

Built to keep everyday questions moving, while checking changing details fresh. Ready Replies reuses a prepared answer when it fits the caller’s finished question and your approved business information.

Bludge can also begin preparing an answer while someone is still speaking. If their final words change the request, that answer is updated or discarded.

Prepared information

“Do you cover my suburb?”

Use the business’s current, approved service area when it answers the question.

Fresh check

“Can you come tomorrow?”

Check live availability. A prepared answer must not invent a free appointment.

Preparing a response does not book, charge or send anything.

Your customers’ information

Where the
call goes.

Ordinary commercial AI reasoning currently runs in the United States, including for Australian callers. Other processing locations depend on your setup.

Australian Privacy Principles (APP) compliance depends on your obligations and use of the service. Bludge does not automatically make a business compliant.

Where your information goes

Take the customer’s side of the call

Ask a question.
Then change your mind.

Try Bludge with your business details. Correct a detail, interrupt a reply and see how the conversation feels.
