Is Bludge an Odoo alternative for a small business?

It can be. Odoo offers many apps that you or a partner set up. Bludge is one system that we set up around your business, then host, support and change as your needs change.

How do the costs compare?

Odoo charges per user for its apps, and setup is priced separately. Bludge gives you a quote for your business. It covers setup, ongoing service and usage, and there is no fee per user.

Can I change forms in both?

Yes. In Odoo, changing forms with Studio needs the Custom plan. In Bludge, we build your forms, calculations and line items with you, and we agree later changes in your quote.

Does Odoo answer the phone?

No. Odoo’s VoIP app makes and takes calls with a phone provider, and we found no AI answering. Bludge answers routine calls, checks availability and takes bookings, and passes other calls to your team with a call record.

Can a small business set up Odoo without a partner?

You can start yourself, and Odoo sells setup services through Odoo or a partner, with later changes agreed separately. Bludge includes setup, support and later changes in your quote, and our team makes the changes.

Can I move my records from Odoo to Bludge?

Yes, in most cases. If you can export your customers and records from Odoo to a spreadsheet, we can import them. You match the columns and check a preview first. We agree the move in your quote.
