Stock from arrival to delivery
Record each car’s details, photos, checks and certificates. A prep checklist covers detailing, photos, service history and the PPSR check. Days in stock count up by themselves.
For used car dealers
Car yard software: every car, lead and deal in one place, from the yard to delivery.
Bludge is a hosted system for running a business, set up for you by a person. For car yards, we have built a setup for an independent used car dealer in Australia. It follows each car from arriving to delivered, and each lead from first enquiry to an approved deal. Bludge answers calls too, and turns a call into a lead or a trade-in valuation.
The work it handles
Record each car’s details, photos, checks and certificates. A prep checklist covers detailing, photos, service history and the PPSR check. Days in stock count up by themselves.
Enquiries arrive from your website, listing site emails and the phone, each linked to a customer. A lead nobody touches for two days gets a follow-up task.
Customers book a car and a salesperson at a free time. The yard records the licence, the declaration, the signature and when the keys went out and came back.
A deposit reserves the car. The sales manager approves each deal. Accepting it marks the car sold, makes the deal summary and adds the delivery tasks.
Customers ask “What’s my car worth?” online or by phone. Staff add the appraisal, and a delivered deal brings the trade-in into stock.
Bludge answers the phone with a call script for buying, selling, trading in and test drives. Each call becomes a lead or a trade-in valuation, with a call-back arranged.
See stock over 60 days, leads won and sales by salesperson. Gross profit and what each car cost are for the sales manager and administrators only.
A day with the setup
Prep starts from the checklist, with the PPSR reminder and photos.
Bludge answers, follows the buying script and books a test drive. The lead is created with a call-back.
The valuation is recorded against the lead and the car.
The deal records its finance, and the sales manager approves it.
The car moves to Delivered, and the lead closes.
How it comes together
A kit is configured forms, records, rules and roles. A person sets it up with you and keeps adjusting it.
Forms, boards, rules, documents, saved replies and dashboards are already set up for a dealership. Your whole team works from the same records.
We add your licence details, your state’s rules, your team and your stock, and connect your website and listing site emails. Then we adjust it as you work.
Enquiry, test drive and trade-in forms work on your website. Calls become leads too. Calls about deals always go to a person.
Quotes, invoices and payment links connect to the car, the deal and the customer. A buyer can pay a holding deposit by card, and paying never skips the sales manager’s approval.
With Strategy & growth, we work through Discover, Design and Deploy with you. Agree who you sell to and how, then build a website whose enquiry form feeds your leads.
A compatible AI assistant can connect to Bludge and work inside it. It has the same access as the person using it, so a salesperson’s assistant cannot see costs or gross profit. It makes the changes that person asks for and never acts on its own. Ask for a draft when you want to review first.
Forward their lead emails to your enquiry form’s own address and each one becomes a lead. Some sites send from their own address, so staff link the right customer. Bludge does not publish your stock to listing sites.
No. The prep checklist reminds staff to search the PPSR, and a deal records its finance. Searches and lender applications happen outside Bludge.
Only the sales manager and administrators. Nobody else sees what a car cost or a deal’s gross, in lists, search, dashboards or documents.
The library has a guide for each state, gathered in October 2026. Keep your state’s section and check it with your regulator. Your prescribed forms and contract of sale are still yours to give.
You get a quote for your business. It covers setup, ongoing service and any usage charges, such as phone calls. There is no fee per user.
