Meta AI and Muse

Connect Muse to your business

Give Muse your business records to work from.

Bludge’s MCP connector links Muse, Meta’s agent for ongoing work, to your business records. Muse works for you, inside the access you already have in Bludge. The Bludge guide covers Muse; Meta AI chat has its own connections.

What Muse can do once connected

It works with the same records your team uses, and only the ones you can open. It acts when you ask, never on its own.

  • Find records and people

Ask Muse to find a customer, job, enquiry or document. It searches the records and people you can see in Bludge.

  • Read forms, documents and your business brain

It can read how your forms are set up, your library documents and your business brain. Its answers then use your own business knowledge.

  • Summarise work

Ask what needs your attention, or for a summary of a job. It reads your open work, tasks, dashboard figures and a record’s replies and notes.

  • Check availability

On forms that take bookings, it can look up free times, and who is free, before you or your team book.

  • Make the changes you ask for

With your Bludge permissions, it can update a record, add a note or task, move a booking or send a reply you ask for. It does not act on its own, and Bludge records each change as made by the assistant, for you.

  • Prepare a draft when you want to review first

Ask for a draft of an email, SMS, quote, invoice, job log or social post. A draft changes nothing until a person reviews it in Bludge.

  • Follow your access rules

It sees and does only what your Bludge role and teams allow. Records and fields you cannot open stay hidden from it too.

How connecting works

Each person connects with their own Bludge sign-in, so the assistant always works for someone you know.

  1. Step 1

Check that AI access is on

A business administrator controls AI access for your business in Bludge. They can pause it at any time.

  2. Step 2

    Add Bludge in Muse

In Bludge, open AI connections in your profile menu and choose Connect Meta AI. Copy the setup request from the guide and paste it into a Muse chat. It asks Muse to create a custom connector with Bludge’s server address. Sign in to Bludge when Muse opens the sign-in page.

  3. Step 3

Sign in and choose your businesses

You sign in on Bludge’s own page with your usual password and two-step check. Then you approve the connection for all your businesses or only some.

  4. Step 4

    Work within your permissions

Muse acts for you, using your current Bludge permissions in each business. Bludge records each change as made by the assistant, for you.

Assistant apps change often. If a step looks different, follow your assistant’s own help or ask us.

What stays in your control

  • Your permissions apply

The assistant can never see or do more than you can in Bludge. Role and team limits stay in place, and they change when your role does.

  • Drafts when you want to review

When you ask for a draft, nothing is sent, issued or published until a person reviews it in Bludge. Your business’s approval rules still apply to every action.

  • Read-only when the app asks for it

If your assistant app asks for read-only access, it can look things up but change nothing. You can also create a read-only personal connection in AI connections.

  • Disconnect at any time

Connections stay on until you disconnect them in AI connections. An administrator can also pause AI access for the whole business.

  • A record of what it did

Changes made through the connection show in the audit log as made by the assistant, for you.

Meta AI and Bludge

Muse is Meta’s agent for ongoing work, and Meta describes it as a personal agent. Think of it as staff. Bludge is the business it works in: your customers, bookings, jobs and records in one place, set up for your kind of business by people who look after it. Muse does more with organised records and clear access rules than with a spreadsheet.

Plans, regions and where these facts come from

We checked Meta AI’s own published information on 27 October 2026. Assistant products, plans and regions change often, so check the vendor’s current page before you decide.

Questions about Meta AI

Do Meta AI and Muse connect the same way?

No. They have separate connector setups. The Bludge guide covers Muse.

Will Muse ask for my Bludge password?

No. You sign in on Bludge’s own sign-in page, not in the chat. Never paste a password or key into a chat.

Can Muse read my business data?

Yes, the part you can see. Muse reads only what the person who connected it can see in Bludge. The same role and team limits apply.

Can Muse make changes without review?

Muse makes the changes you ask for, within your Bludge permissions, and never acts on its own. Ask for a draft when you want a person to review first: a draft does not send a message, issue a quote or publish anything. Your business’s approval rules still apply.

How do I disconnect Muse?

Open AI connections in your Bludge profile menu and disconnect it. A business administrator can also pause AI access for the whole business.

Does connecting Muse cost extra?

Bludge pricing is a quote for your business, with no fee per user. Your Meta AI account and plan are separate from Bludge.
